One more picture of the little guy.

eating: banannas - lots of veggies and cereal,
bagels and spaghetti
doing: crawling, pulling yourself up to knees
(sometimes all the way to standing)
playing: banging spoons on pans to make
noise, banging on little fisher price piano
and dancing to your music, peak-a-boo (you
pull a blanket over your face and then drop
it with a huge proud smile.
saying: dadada, n-ga n-ga, lots of singing

Happy 9 month Birthday!!!

(a few days late!)

We've been waiting for the sweetness to
slowly melt off as you get older - but
it is clearly stuck. You are the most
loveable boy that ever existed. You
cover me in slobbery kisses when you
greet me in the morning. When your
dad gets down on the floor to play with
you after work, you pull yourself up
onto his face and sing as you bounce
kisses all over his head.

You learned to crawl a few days ago
and you are very excited to have
the power to dissrupt your sisters
in their games - chewing on their
puzzle pieces or stealing their crayons.

I am going to have to perform some
kind of miracle early potty training
because you are already too strong
for me to hold down when it is diaper
changing time.

I am cherishing this time when I only say no to you once or twice a day.
(You keep trying to pull the fireplace screen on your head and you like to
find buttons and hair things to put in your mouth). But I know the days are
nearing when you will have to hear no every other minute. I'm sorry that
this is coming, but I am also excited for your world to grow. I just have to be here
to keep it baby size - no jumping down stairways or poking outlets and things
like that.

I thank God for gracing me with a baby with such a gentle spirit and amazing cuteness. He definitely knew that we needed you and you truly make our family more complete.

Happy 3 years and 9 months
Birthday!

It has been great having you dress yourself every day this month. Not great that you are often wearing two different floral prints, but great that I only have to dress two kids in the
morning instead of 3.

However, in the last few days you have become particularly attached to a giant bunny your Papa and Kitty got you. This bunny has to change clothes every few minutes depending on what it is doing - napping, going to a party, going outside etc.
So now along with my very full time job of taking care of you
and your siblings, I am now helping get little purple socks
on huge bunny feet and putting the bunny's skirt back on
because she was jumping on the trampoline and it keeps falling
off. This is not my favorite game. But it is pretty sweet, and I know you have this thing for putting together original outfits so I will support you in your passion.

Lately you have also been into all kinds of dramatic play.
You made a boat out of blocks under the table.
At first I took your boat for a house - it was obviously a boat
when I looked closer. You said "This is where I park my
boat,
under my house (the table). Meet my dog." Gesturing to your sister as she barked in response.

Every day is an adventure with you, as it has always been.
You are a ton of fun and everyone we
know loves hanging out with you.
